How much does BioXcape cost?
The entry fee to the escape room depends on the number of players.
- For a team of two players the entry fee is: BGN 100 (BGN 50 per person)
- for a team of three it is: BGN 135 (BGN 45 per person)
- for a team of four it is: BGN 152 (BGN 38 per person)
- for a team of five the entry fee is: BGN 180 (BGN 36 per person)
How can I book a visit?
You can book a visit in our booking system. After you’ve booked a date and a time, the system will ask you to pay online, either the entire amount or a deposit of BGN 50. If you choose to pay only the deposit, you can pay the rest on the spot before you start your visit.
What are the opening hours of BioXcape?
After you book an appointment through our booking system, an operator will come and open the escape room on the chosen date and time. In order to play you need to register first. In case that you want to play on the day of your registration, please call +359 897 326 800, to confirm your appointment.
Where is BioXcape located?
BioXcape is located in Sofia, at 1 Tsar Osvoboditel Boulevard. The escape room can be accessed through the entrance on the back of the National Museum of Natural History building in the park surrounding the National Gallery.
What can I do if I can’t show up for my booked visit?
You need to contact us at least 48 hours prior to your booked appointment. Then our operator will assist you in choosing another date and time for your visit.
Can I enter the escape room with an electronic device?
No, you can’t. Phones, cameras, microphones and all other types of recording devices are not permitted in the escape room. Before the start of your visit you will be asked to leave your devices with the operator; you will get them back after the end of your visit. This way you can enjoy the environment of the escape room to its fullest, and we can make sure that no visual material leaks out revealing the environment and ruining the experience for our future guests.
How long does a visit to BioXcape take?
A visit to the escape room usually lasts about 70 minutes. We kindly invite you to arrive at the location 15 minutes earlier than your appointed time. This will give us time to introduce you to the rules of the escape room and give you the necessary instructions.
Is BioXcape suitable for children?
Children can visit BioXcape escape room alone only if they are over 13 years of age. At this age they can be fully capable members of their team and they can participate in solving the problems without parental guidance. Younger children can also visit the escape room if they are accompanied by a parent or an adult.
Do I need to prepare in advance before my visit to BioXcape?
No, you don’t need to prepare in advance, or have some specialist knowledge to visit BioXcape. You only need to bring along your good mood, your logical thinking and your motivation to learn new interesting facts about the climate and the environment.
What happens if our time runs out and we are not ready?
The room operator will inform you when you have 10 minutes left but even if you can’t make it before the agreed time runs out, don’t worry: we will let you complete your visit. Please, make sure that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment so that you don’t disturb the schedule of the following teams due to being late.
Can we leave BioXcape escape room at any time?
In case a player doesn’t feel well or they want to end their visit, they can do so at any time by signaling to the operator.
Can two teams compete against each other?
Yes, they can. This is our practice when we organize team buildings or private events. You can compete with your colleagues and friends and find out who is fastest. However, remember that the two (or more) teams cannot compete simultaneously and they will have to enter the escape room one after the other.
Is our visit recorded? Can we see a video or pictures after the end of our visit?
Visits to the escape room are not recorded. During your visit there will be constant video surveillance by an administrator. After your visit ends, your team will be photographed and the picture can be uploaded to our social media; you can also receive it on the email that you registered with.
Is BioXcape room suitable for team building events and birthday celebrations?

Can I buy a visit to BioXcape room as a present?
Absolutely! You can buy a voucher as a present for friends or family. But remember that a team of several players is needed for a visit to the escape room!
Can prepaid visits be reimbursed?
Prepaid visits will be reimbursed only after you send an email to our operators no later than 48 hours before your appointment. If a customer fails to show up at the booked date and time, the prepaid entry fee will not be reimbursed. The 50 leva deposit is not reimbursable but if you contact us no later than 48 hours before your appointment you can choose another date and time.
In case you paid in advance the total sum for the game but you want to cancel and you did contact us no later than 48 hours before the visit, we will reimburse the difference between the total sum and the deposit. The method of reimbursement depends on your method of payment. If you have paid with an online bank transfer, then your money will be reimbursed to the bank account you used no later than 14 days after the reimbursement claim (made no later than 48 hours before your appointment).
If you’ve paid in person at the bank, please keep the payment order so that we can reimburse you in cash in our office.
In case you have paid cash in our office you need to visit us and present the receipt of your payment so that you can be reimbursed in cash. In case you’ve paid with a bank card then the amount will be reimbursed to the bank account used.
